What does QAF stand for?
QAF stands for Qur’an Al-Majeed Foundation. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to delivering free, authentic copies of the Qur’an and dawah materials to individuals and communities across North and South America, removing barriers to accessing the message of Islam.
Who funds QAF’s operations?
QAF is funded primarily through donations from generous individuals who believe in spreading the message of the Qur’an. All contributions go toward shipping, supporting dawah training, and logistics.
Which translations of the Qur’an do you offer, and in what quantity?
We offer authentic translations in English (Sahih International) and Spanish. At this time, we only fulfill bulk orders of 3,000 copies or more to maximize impact and optimize logistics. If your organization or dawah effort meets this threshold, you may submit a request through our website.
How can I request free copies of the Qur’an or dawah materials?
You can submit a request through our website by visiting the “Request Qur’ans” section. We prioritize high-impact areas like dawah booths, prisons, campuses, and underserved communities, but we do our best to fulfill all requests as supplies allow.
Does QAF train volunteers to give dawah?
Yes. We conduct intensive, Sunnah-based dawah training in major hub cities across the U.S. and beyond. Each program includes immersive training tailored specifically to what every individual team requires. This is also funded through our budget, in sha’ Allah
How can I support QAF’s mission?
You can support us by donating, volunteering, or even just sharing our work with others. Every Qur’an placed is a potential sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity), and we rely on Allah and the sincere efforts of the ummah to keep going.
Are donations to QAF tax-deductible?
Yes. QAF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. law.
